I breathe emptily
into a blank paper
by the side of
the flickering fire
Dust recedes in my head
Snowflakes melt
into crystal clear water
Clouds collide
Ideas rain in
The night prevails
yet wisdom dawns
The thunder roars
quelling the writer’s block
The lightning frolics
A victory lap on my behalf
The sky is a gleeful witness
to this noisy circus
Gods of the heaven wake
blessings cascade down
The ocean of words
hit me like a
torrential storm
Nib caresses the parchment

Hi Roshniβ¦ I liked the poem very much. I also liked the motto at the end of the poem. Sometimes itβs easy to feel random acts to beautify the world go unnoticed. Keep going π

That about sums it up when a poem or story enters your head doesn’t it? You just have to get it down in writing and everything else takes second place. π

Oh yes, very well said!
It goes from the nothingness of the blank page to too many ideas coming to us, all at once. The decluttering occurs much later.
Thank you for engaging with the poem βΊοΈ
